We all know that is very important to take care of yourself and there are many different ways to do it. Today my suggestion is the Aire experience, that I have tried last weekend in Barcelona. Located in the heart of Barcelona just opposite to the Ciutadella park, this is a magical place that is worth to visit. The building use to be an old storage for goods for the Market of El Borne and in the old times it use to be a water deposit to supply the water to the city of Barcelona. It has been carefully refurbished to recreate the ancient Greek and Roman bath tradition in a historical building of 1784. There is a circuit of one 1,45h that includes different temperature baths, different kind of treatments and massages, many option to relax your body and mind. I highly recommend it! You need to book online or by phone as it works with turnes.
A day trip to Montserrat with a group of friends or just with your family can be a perfect day out! We have been a couple of time with a group of friends with kids and we all have enjoyed the experience so much. There are many different paths to take and the scenery is just fantastic, such outstanding views and quite easy walk. We took the Funicular to get to a certain level and we walked to the very top.
I Found a very detailed article on Trip Advisor about this trip to the Monastery of Montserrat and a bit of history as well.
The scenery is breathtaking with a great landscape surrounded by nature. It is beautiful in the winter, and equally lovely in the summer, especially in the late afternoon when it starts to cool down. The large path is easy to walk for the kids, there is no need for a map just follow the path. From Mas Alba to the hermitage could take 45 min to 1 h.
